Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Arthur, the dear sister of Raymond J. Schneider and his wife, the late Lynn and the late Donald Schneider and his wife, Carolyn, the loving aunt of Vickie Keller and husband, Kevin, Suzanne Reed and husband, Frank and Nancy Masterson and husband, Thomas.
Eleanor was the great aunt of Christopher Keller and wife Tanya and their children, Christopher and Everleigh, Jesse Masterson, Wendy Jones and husband, the late Mark and their children Kristen Strumsky and Kyle Jones , Scott Schneider and Curtis Schneider and wife Jean.

Some of Eleanor's professional accomplishments include, former District office supervisor for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company in Irvington (37 years of service), President of Newark Suburban Council, Telephone Pioneers of America, Vice President and past publicity and fund raising chairperson of the Newark Suburban Council, H.G. McCully Upstate Chapter, Telephone Pioneers of America, Past President and member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Irvington B.P.O.E. 1245 Elks, Member of the Irvington General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and also a member of the National Secretaries Association-West Essex Chapter of West Orange,
